This dear brother posted a reel called a “Thought for today” in which he spoke about Hebrews 10:25

Hehehe funny that! …It is Sunday morning already here brother but where will I go? I just preached from Hebrews 10 the other day because a sister asked me about 10:26-31 which she said always troubled her.

Anyway- the thing is – this verse you were quoting last year must be taken in context of the whole book and chapter as you would know. But usually it is not. The context of Hebrews is that they were drawing back to perdition by going back to the inferior old covenant system of dead works and reminders of sin every day. They were leaving behind grace – preferring instead to try hard to be good for God by law keeping etc. They had not entered into the Holy of Holies in their understanding because they were only conscious of falling short all the time.

So they continued in a consciousness of their sins and other people’s sins -therefore in their consciousness there was no longer (Christ’s)a sacrifice for sins – but only a fearful expectation of judgement ….in other words they were now going to get judgement because they had rejected grace in preference for works(law) to be justified daily. So then we get to verse 25 –

The ‘assembling for the purpose of encouragement’ is to be around the finished work and one sacrifice for sins forever made by Jesus. So where will I go brother?

In Perth West Oz there are no churches that preach true righteousness and true holiness – they all preach faked righteousness and faked manmade holiness by their own works! They encourage the people on Sunday to keep repenting and to keep coming out to the altar but know nothing of the ONE SACRIFICE – or they do? For by preaching the One sacrifice to their people they would be out of a job! Their people would mature and grow in grace instead of constantly coming to be beaten up for their sins to keep them coming to the elite out at the altar. A Religious treadmill!! bless you brother ❤️ have a little iron sharpening iron from me across the Indian ocean. 😊 (edited here compared to the screenshot below)
