The Lord Jesus is our hiding place and it is not that we must try to get into Him to hide there….but we ARE IN HIM and are hid with Christ in God.
Col 3 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Ex 33:18 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”
Ex 33:19 Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” 20 But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” 21 And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. 22 So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”
Being hid with Christ in God sounds so mystical. Yet the picture God gives of Moses hiding in a cleft of the rock he was standing on points to Jesus ‘The Rock of Ages’ and us in Him.
It has literally happened….that you and I have been placed inside of Jesus inside God. We are hid with Him in God. That word “with” means UNION. We have been joined in union with Jesus WHO HIMSELF ALWAYS EXISTS INSIDE GOD. If He is in God we are also. There is NO GETTING OUT OF UNION….there really is not getting in either!
God created Mankind to be in union with Himself. The only separation that has ever occurred since Adam’s choice was in the mind and imagination only. That is not a light thing though.
If we think or imagine ourselves to be separated from God then that is where we live and how we live. To be separated from God is DEATH. So all mankind fell into a place of Death or you could say HADES.
Man found himself in the Pit even though his heart still beat in his chest…he was Dead…for to imagine one’s self to be separated from God is to be dead.
But I think it is more than imagination…
For even though from God’s point of view all things live and move and have their being inside of Him….from our point of view all things seem to be separated from Him.
Jesus came saying, “I am the Door.”
Jn 10:7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
If Jesus is The Door…what is it to be outside the Door? Jesus is the Door into God Life. The door into experiencing God Life. He is the Door into the heavenlies. If you try to enter the heavenlies some other way you are listening to Scammers who will kill steal and destroy you. But if you BELIEVE INTO JESUS THE DOOR…you will go in and out of the heavenlies daily, moment by moment. You will be inside!
Jesus is the Door way into God’s heart. By Jesus we have access to the Father and no other way gives such access.
That Door is within us.
The Lord brings us to the Door within where we are given GRACE TO REPENT AND ENTER IN BY FAITH…His faith that arises inside of us.
We find then that we are enabled to believe in Jesus and all things come alive in us and all around us for now we have ENTERED through the DOOR into the Kingdom. We suddenly see that heaven and earth are ONE PLACE and are not separated at all. Before we believed we could not enter into this reality….but now we believe by grace… we have entered….and see heaven and earth as One.
Then we begin to see that we are also ONE inside the Son of God Who Himself is One with Father God.
Then also we see and feel that we are ONE WITH ONE ANOTHER through our common bond of Love–Jesus Himself living in us.
So the restoration I speak of in the video above is really all to do with believing first of all that all things are in God and flow out from God into visibility. When we believe this and speak it then the creative power of God shall effect the physical. Mind boggling but this is who we are as sons of God.
