okay so this is part two of “failure is God’s classroom” I finished off talking about how uh Jesus Is With Us in all of our failures and weaknesses and to the religious Christian mind we know that God is with us but what we don’t fully understand is that he’s not just with you he is you he
you this is revelation this is the Revelation that only the spirit of God can awaken in us and reveal to our inner person that’s what it means when Jesus came to live in you he came to live with you he came to be you that’s what it means in 2 Corinthians 5:19 how God was in Christ Jesus on the cross not imputing our trespasses to us see that God was in Christ on the cross see we’re taught that God turned his back on Jesus and could not look upon his sinful son who was carrying all of our sins tell me where it says that in the scriptures another one of man’s ideas because they major on external Holiness and they say oh God is a god of love but he’s also a god of judgment or he’s a god of of Holiness and he cannot look upon sin well God became our sin God did what was needed got down and dirty and carried all of our sin for us the father was in Christ Jesus his son not imputing their trespasses to them no no he was imputing all of the world’s sin to his son to Jesus but God wasn’t separate from Jesus in doing it because God is never separate from Jesus that’s the nature of God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit these three are one they are never separate Jesus is always in the father always was always will be God is always in Jesus always was always will be by the spirit they’re always together and it’s the same for us we are always in Jesus who is always in Father father is always in Jesus and Jesus is always in us because God has brought us given us repentance and Faith to believe it’s not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord It’s not of him who Wills Romans 9 says it’s not of him who Wills but of him who calls you see in modern Christianity we preach the gospel hoping to cause people to make a decision with their will with their will we try to persuade people to choose Jesus with their will and that’s okay but we need to understand that it’s not of him who Wills nor of him who runs but it’s God God draws or drags a person God enables us to choose God enables us to repent it’s all by his grace it’s all by his spirit it’s all God God hasn’t anything up to you to fulfill on your side of the Covenant the Covenant was made between God and himself God and his son Jesus so that the Covenant is fool-proof and we have being drawn to him Hallelujah that’s why we give thanks we have been drawn to him as first fruits of his creatures we are a kind of first fruits of a new race of human beings those who are Emmanuel God with us God people Jesus people we don’t really understand the fullness of what that is Ephesians chapter 3 tells us that you are filled with all the fullness of God you are filled with all the fullness of God how much of God fills you all the fullness of God and Jesus is the head of all principality he is the fullness of God he is the image of God yet he is the fullness of God and he has come to fill you with
himself oh the good news is so good it’s just incredibly
unbelievable and it’s only by Revelation that we can get a hold of this no wonder they said to Paul much learning is driving you mad [Laughter] Paul friend there is life and joy in his presence the psalmist tells us and yet his presence has come to fill the house permanently to take up residence in you to be the life in you to be your spirit to be one with you that God might be expressed through you as you just be yourself failing succeeding struggling trying doing good doing bad if you have received Jesus Christ you have received the life of the age to come it’s an eternal life and it’s the quality of the life of Jesus and that life is an imperishable life it’s an immortal life it’s an Incorruptible life it is a life that is love it is faithfulness it is kindness and goodness and meekness and Holiness and righteousness and wisdom he is our all in all he is all we need and we are the container of this life and we are not separate from that life as if he is in us like you would put water in a jug and when you tip the water out the jug is empty no that’s not the right
picture his life is intermingled in you as I said in the previous video at the end of it Jesus has reconciled you to himself the father has reconciled the world to himself not imputing our trespasses to us so that word reconciled it means to be brought into Oneness
basically if you have a guitar and you want to tune the
guitar you want to if you want to tune them harmonically you have to bring them into the same frequency because one is at a dick different octave it’s at a different tune and God has reconciled you to himself through the cross because he forgave all your sin put you to death and buried you and raised you up a brand new creature ready to be fitted perfectly to the life of his son because you had to be born again you can’t be flesh and go to heaven you can’t be flesh and walk in the anointing and receive Jesus you have to be made alive in the spirit you have to be made comparable like Eve was for her husband in the garden you have to be of the same
kind Hallelujah you have to be made like unto the Son of God oh God you’re so good you have to be made Heavenly so that you are the right fit for the Heavenly one The Heavenly Man to come and join with you in holy matrimony at the spirit level First Corinthians 6:17 he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him h Hallelujah so God has given you repentance given you Faith to believe so that you might be born again born of the spirit of God because it’s not by man it’s not by the will of man it’s not by power nor by might it’s not of him who Wills or of him who runs according to Romans 9 John 3 but of God who has chosen you who it’s of God who has the power to change you and he did that so that you are the right fit for Jesus to come and be one with you as one person inside well not one person one life one light one Spirit to say it as Paul said it one spirit and now we are being renewed in the spirit of our mind according to the Ephesians 4 I’m not sure I think it’s verse 17(23) be renewed in the spirit of your mind Ephesians 4:17(23) so because we have been created according to God in true righteousness and Holiness or true Holiness and righteousness you see there is a true Holiness and righteousness versus this outer fake filthy rags Holiness and righteousness that the old man is only capable of producing the old way is to feel responsible and try really hard to be holy because after all Jesus said unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees you will by no means enter the kingdom heaven or the kingdom of God same thing and so Jesus was preaching the per Perfection of the law but for us who come in by Grace we do not try to be holy or righteous we come come to learn by Revelation and through failure this classroom of God that we cannot do it that we cannot measure up to God’s standard of living that we fail every day and that’s okay God wants you to learn that God wants you to see that so that you will cry out like Paul did at the end of Romans 7 who will deliver me I can’t do
it and so God has made you one spirit with Jesus that he would be the one who fulfills your side of the Covenant for God and we believe and that’s called obedience The Obedience of faith we say Lord let it be unto me according to your word I believe what you say Lord that I am the righteousness of God now in Christ Jesus according to 2 Corinthians 5:21 I am made the righteousness of God now not when you go to heaven now and so God has reconciled the world to himself when he was in Christ Jesus on the cross not imputing your sins to you but to your scapegoat Jesus who took your sin away removed it as far as the East is from the West so that we might be holy and blameless before our father in love because of the work Jesus did and Jesus you need to know Jesus was is only able to do anything because the father lived in him still lives in him enabling him to do what he did Jesus could not even carry his cross but the father in Jesus’s weakness provided someone else to carry it for it it’s okay being weak it’s okay being Immortal it’s not God’s um goal that we stay that way of course he has a body prepared for us an immortal body reserved in the heavens for us a body like Jesus’s body with no weakness but that we even when we’re clothed with that glorious body that inner attitude of poverty of spirit of being poor in spirit it’s called meekness that inner attitude we will have thoroughly learned by them that we of our own self can do nothing even now Jesus even though he is no longer mortal but Immortal the only one by the way for he alone possesses immortality Paul said even though he is now Immortal Incorruptible filled with Glory ascended on high he is still the meek and lonely Shepherd he’s still the meek and lonely one who always defers to his father who never asserts
himself and so we have been brought into Jesus and and he had been brought into us and we have become one with him that the life that like Paul said we are not sufficient of anything of ourselves but it’s God who has made us sufficient as Ministers of the New Covenant not of the letter which kills but of the spirit which gives life Hallelujah I’ll continue after God willing
