They chose Good over what they saw was Evil. Snared!
What are we meant to choose?
Choose Life!! Choose ONLY to eat from the tree of life!
That Life is found inside Jesus Christ ALONE….not in a denomination, or a Creed, or a building, or a church….Life is a Person – Jesus the Son of the Living God. To eat Life is to live. To believe in Jesus as God’s Son is TO EAT Life.
But another one has come in his OWN NAME (Christ) Him you will receive.
John 5:43 “I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.”
In choosing a king for yourselves you have rejected Jesus Christ just as they did when they chose King Saul. What happened with that choice? The Kingdom was TORN FROM THEM and given to another whose heart was truly after God.

And so history is repeating itself. It must be this way. Why?
In order to expose the difference between what is Life and what is Death.
This is all to do with Jesus saying “I will build My church” in Matthew 16:18….
His called out ones(Church)EAT ONLY LIFE…they wait on Him to show….they do not imagine that they themselves have any ability to succeed, or to choose wisely, or to be a good person, or to not sin.
Isa 7:15 Curds and honey He shall eat, THAT HE MAY KNOW to refuse the evil and choose the good.
Isa 11:3His delight is in the fear of the Lord,And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
In order for the Called out ones to walk in the Spirit He must teach us to eat only the food He gives us – curds and honey-that we may KNOW to not decide by sight and hearing–but by the Spirit of Life.
Therefore our foolish choice in voting for The Christ will backfire because the good in it is from the Tree of Death and Death will be it’s sure reward.
