Without spot or wrinkle

There are two ways to clean the heart – only one works. I like to picture this with a glass of muddy water. The New Covenant way to clean that glass is to keep pouring in clean water. The Old Covenant way is to try to remove each particle (spot and wrinkle) of dirt one at a time.

But then the Old Covenant way also requires you to carefully monitor and keep watch over your water for any new dirt particles. ..and as soon as you see any dirt you should tell someone you trust “I have dirt!” you should do this each and every time you see some dirt so you can deal with the dirt.

You feel dirty

You are conscious of dirt

You think of dirt

You are scared of dirt

You see dirt everywhere and in everyone!

My advice

Get far away from old covenant preachers!

See Jesus ONLY in your heart by faith..that is the clean pure water your heart needs to thrive and bear good fruit.

In that old covenant system the only ones who think they are clean are the one’s who think they have pulled out each of their personal dirt particles. These then become the holy ones who can claim to be able to clean others….

They base their cleanness NOT on what Jesus did at the cross when He took all our sins away BUT on their own confession and deliverance from sin. …only trouble is they sin every day and so are forced to keep seeing sin in themselves.

They live in negative emotions constantly until they can confess their dirt to their trusted friend…who is also playing the same game but is somehow cleaner.

It is all an Old Covenant attempt to please God when He has already provided ONE sacrifice for sins FOREVER through Jesus Christ!
