It is quite a surprise to see the message that the Lord is bringing forth it’s not a surprise to me because this is how he has led me for a number of years now but the power of the deception is based in the fact that a Christian is a good person- a good person. Jesus said I didn’t come to save The Righteous but to bring Sinners to repentance… so you know that was a bit ‘tongue in cheek’ because Jesus knew and he knows now that there are none who are righteous no not one.
but the Pharisees in his day thought that they were righteous through keeping the law and this is the Trap this is the snare self-righteousness is delusion because we claim to be right because we keep the law when in fact it’s filthy rag [Music] filthy rags and yet it has a measure of righteousness according to the standard of the world or man it has the appearance of righteousness but it is like a hollow shell there’s nothing beneath the exterior there is nothing it’s just all a shame and so Paul said that the the day of the Lord cannot come unless the falling away comes first that’s a very interesting thing the day of the Lord the resurrection and the coming of the Lord it cannot come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed the son of
perdition so the man of sin the son of perdition he is hidden beneath an outward veneer of self-righteousness he hides beneath the covering of self-righteousness whereas we are hidden under the righteous Robes of Jesus Christ your life is hid with Christ in God Colossians chapter 3 tells us for you died for you died and your life is now hidden with Christ with means in conjunction with in Union with you were buried with him in baptism and now you are raised up with him conjunction with Union with so you were you became one with him in his death and you’ve been made one with him in his resurrection but those who reject the cross are enemies of God it doesn’t matter if they claim the name of Jesus you see a Christian can be deceived by believing in the Lord Jesus at the beginning but then rejecting the cross as he goes along and this is what Satan aims to do with us he doesn’t care that you’ve been born again he doesn’t care because he knows he can still get you to renounce the cross and go back to to the inferior Covenant the first Covenant and thereby become estranged from Christ and Fall From Grace so that the cross will profit you nothing nothing this is why Paul said if you live according to the Flesh in Romans 8 you will die you will die you will perish
so does it mean you lose your salvation no no but you will lose something you will lose and you will be a candidate to worship the Antichrist you cannot lose your salvation because salvation is of god it’s not of you you don’t work you don’t have to work to be saved salvation is all of God but it requires us to abide in him to believe in him not in a separate Jesus up there but to believe in the one who comes to live in you you might never have heard this and I I believe most wouldn’t because the church is being shepherded by Shepherds who preach the law they beat the Sheep they preach things like they put you under obligation and responsibility to obey God and they put fear Into Your Heart by telling you you must keep the law you must obey the Lord but New Covenant obedience is not old Covenant obedience the New Covenant requires you to walk in The Obedience of Faith The Obedience of faith and then you find that the faith that’s required is Jesus’s Faith it’s his faith and he comes to live in you friend you died he didn’t want your stinking life to try to live and to try to obey God so that you could become more holy and more like Jesus no God made sure it wasn’t up to you so Jesus came to live inside you and be your life I got to go around in circles H they blocked it whoops praise God I’m going round and around here with a big b
double so that’s what happens when you’re not looking at the signs here we go we’re back on track so God sent Jesus to live in us to be the the life that we are the life that we live by because you were crucified you died now Christ is your life your life is hidden with Christ in God and when Christ who is our life appears Colossians 33 and 4 when Christ who is our life you see we”re being taught we imagine to have Jesus, to have eternal life just means dying and going to heaven it’s just a ticket to Heaven eternal life aonian life is Jesus Christ himself it is his life and this life is in his son Hallelujah and God has put you in his son and made you one with his
son give me your unction Lord so the life that is Jesus Christ carries within it the faith necessary to believe it’s the faith of the Son of God that we live by so follow me Galatians Chapter 2 it’s no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God I live by the faith of the Son of God say it again I have been crucified with Christ it’s no longer I that live so friend you have been crucified with Christ it’s no longer you that live but Christ who lives in you Jesus lives in you and the and the life that you now live is Christ Living in you and the life that you now live you live by the faith of the Son of God you don’t live by faith in the Son of God as if you’re a separate person from Jesus and you’ve got to live by faith in him now no that’s the old Covenant way you live you the you that lives is Christ Living you’re still there You’ become one with him that was why Jesus prayed in John 17 over and over he said that they may be one even as we are one father that they may be one you in me and I in you that they may be one in us hallelujah and so Jesus came to be your life to live the life to he has the faith needed to carry you all the way home but religion views you and has views itself as separated from God needing to obey God as if he’s separate from you needing to try to make sure that you believe in him every day needing to get up in the morning and make sure that you’re going to obey God today by various methods of of Declaration and and um you know stealing yourself pressuring yourself that I will not look at that girl today I will not take money out of the cash register today I will not tell a lie I will witness to everyone that comes my way I will this and I will that that is the old Covenant it’s death it is death Paul called it the ministry of condemnation the ministry of
death I’m trying to help you the old Covenant will kill you and the flesh lives by that way that’s why Paul said if you live according to the flesh you will die you can interchange that you may as will say if you live according to the law you will die because the strength of sin is the law the strength of sin is the law of God and if you live according to the law all you’re doing is strengthening sin in your life and you will die but if you live according to Grace you will live and Grace can only be received by someone who knows they cannot keep the law great can only be deceived uh received by someone who surrenders to the truth now we’re getting back to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 you see because they did not have a love for the truth God will send strong delusion upon them that they believe the lie and the LIE is that you can pleas please God by your own effort self-righteousness and God will give you up to your own self-righteousness he will give you over to the flesh to live this false fake life of a Christian trying to please God without resting inside of Jesus Christ and it will cause you to fall away to fall away from him and Christ will profit you nothing nothing because in your pride you are rejecting him and you are saying to God I don’t need Jesus’s righteousness I don’t need Jesus to live in me and to be the one who pleases you he can help me be pleasing to you he can give me his strength to please you while I’m busy trying trying to keep the law for you God but really it’s all about you earning brownie points looking good to your peers pleasing your pastor who preaches law that’s all it’s about but you’ve rejected the lowly Jesus who said himself I cannot do anything of my own self Jesus said who are you calling good there is only one who is good God Jesus did not come obeying God in his own strength he lent fully upon the Blessed spirit of God he didn’t obey God in his own strength and neither can we but when we preach obey God keep the law keep the Commandments of God we are setting people up for that kind of obedience when we should be preaching believe that you are right with God through faith in Jesus believe that you are holy and righteous believe church that you are just as he is do not preach you should you should you should preach you are you are you are set the people of God free set them on the course of Liberty set them in the grace and mercy of God set them in the Holy place in the holiest of all which is where Jesus brought them do not dare bring the people of God out of that place so that they come back out to the Brazen altar in the outer Court where they’ve got to plead with God to make them right and wash their filthy heart oh God and and bring them out of the holy of holies so they feel filthy again just to satisfy your religious spirit preacher Pharisee don’t do it brother if you’re a preacher repent repent for bringing the people of God under the heavy yoke of the law to try and get them to repent of breaking God’s laws when they have already been forgiven already being
cleansed oh God I pray you’d have mercy on us and show us your New Covenant show us the truth of the Gospel in Jesus mighty name
