hey 31st of March 2025 so the New Covenant then what is it if it’s not self-effort if it’s not going back trying to live under the law then what is it we can’t only look at the negative can we so what is it to be a new creature in Christ to be born again as and raised up as a new creation old has passed away behold the new has come what does that mean in our day today life it means that just as he is so are you in this world that’s what it means to be like Jesus is to be one with him so religion tries to teach us to try to be like Jesus by what we do but the New Covenant is all about Jesus coming to live in you so that you just by being you are like Jesus and this really does our head in we don’t there’s no boasting points in that so how does it work well instead of asking God to give you patience you realise that Jesus is all the patience you need and he lives in you he’s not up there he’s in you and he has whatever you need in every moment and he’s not separate from you we really don’t need to ask him Lord give me patience Lord give me wisdom it helps us to believe or to position ourself to receive I guess but the truth is we are one with him we are one with his love so when we need love for others that love of God flows out of us according to Romans 55 isn’t it the love of God is shed abroad in Your Heart by the Holy Spirit who is given to you the love of God is yours already so you don’t need to ask for it as if you don’t have it Romans 55 the love of God is has been or is shed abroad in your heart from side to side top to bottom you you are the love of God and you have the love of God so whatever it is you’re faced within your day as a new creation you are one with Jesus Christ in and of yourself just like Jesus you cannot love people the way you should in and of yourself your patience will not be enough and so on go through all the fruit of the spirit in and of yourself God realises and we need to realise that we cannot produce the fruit and so we we tend to ask him we recognise we don’t have it so we ask him oh Lord give me more love oh Lord give me more patience and yet Jesus has come to live in you and you already have all those things because you have Jesus so how do you access that and this is what we are learning this is how it’s all about renewing our mind renewing our mind to the truth be renewed in the spirit of your mind Paul said in Ephesians chapter 4 and so that renewing of the mind is an Awakening to the life that lives in you Jesus himself he doesn’t living you in a little pocket somewhere still separated it’s a merging together of two people so that the Two Become One except you’re still there he’s still there the word is in Greek is sym-morphe that we might be conformed to His Image- Symorphy- and so two of.. the two of us Jesus and you.. are joined as one together.. so that everything that is Jesus is everything that is his is now yours and everything that you are is now his he’s come to live in your body and to express himself through your personality your soul your physicality everything about you you are manifesting Jesus Christ because he is your life before you got born again you were manifesting another Spirit let’s be honest Ephesians 2 ver 1 and 2, “the spirit of the air that now works in the sons of disobedience” so we were manifesting another life.. at times we were able to produce some patience and kindness and goodness but compared to Jesus it’s filthy rags.. so so it’s a renewing of the mind by the holy spirit that we are just as he is.. just as he is in this world.. so are we.. Hallelujah! so are we! he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him he that any spirit that declares that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God first John chapter 4 verse one any spirit that declares that Jesus Christ is come King James version its present tense so Jesus Christ is come in my flesh constantly because I’m joined with him through faith through the work of God not because of me he drew me to himself so he could live in me and express himself through Dennis it’s the same for you and this is the New Covenant this is the new creation person that we are the old person keeps trying to produce keeps trying to be like God or like Jesus and failing and we call that
Christianity it’s filthy rags it’s filthy rags so the Lord is wanting to bring his church Christians deeper into the
Revelation that Jesus and you are one Jesus and you are one and the love that you have now connected with is your love it is your love and the wisdom you need and the and the patience you need and the brotherly kindness and generosity and everything that you need it’s all yours because you have Jesus and so we rest in that just being ourself acknowledging that if you’ve seen me you’ve seen Jesus
