hey how you doing you know we can look at the scriptures through our natural mind or we can look at it through the mind of Christ and remember whatever I say on here I’m saying first of all to
myself Paul wanted to teach the the deeper things, the meat to the Corinthians but because they were still babes in Christ still carnal he wasn’t able to teach them those things so by carnal things, what the Lord has been showing me is the natural man always looks at the outer exterior things, we see that with the Pharisees in Matthew 23 when Jesus spoke about out they make their Philacteries broad they wrap tefill’im around their arm, they do things to be seen by men, the Lord said that to me some months ago, he says, reminded me of that verse, “all you do, you do to be seen by men,” and so he’s wanting to get to the ROOT of this issue in us that keeps us locked into The Old Man, and the old Covenant, the flesh, the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, self-righteousness, these terms all speak of the same thing… and so the natural man as a Christian looks at things like the natural temple in Jerusalem, the city of Jerusalem in the Middle East rather than the New Jerusalem, it looks at form and outward dress standards, it looks at um tithing, it looks at outward worship and types of outward worship, and it makes a big deal out of the outward things, and Paul said it’s so that they can boast in their flesh, in the book of Galatians there were those who wanted to circumcise the Believers so they could boast in their
flesh… and we are always tempted to look away from the spirit and look to our natural performance.. we’re worried about whether we qualify for the Rapture.. whether we’ll be in the Rapture or not… and yet we read in the New Testament that HE HAS qualified us! after all haven’t we received the life of the age to come? That’s what ‘aonian zoe’ means.. most of our versions say ‘eternal life’ but technically it’s ‘the life of the age to come’.. he has qualified us.. but the only ones who are qualified are ‘sons of God’ who walk not after the flesh, who do not set their mind on the things of the flesh but the things of the spirit… Paul says it another way he says in Philippians 3:19 they’re ‘enemies of the cross’ who ‘set their minds on Earthly things’.. Earthly things- the flesh. Colossians 3 says that we ‘have been crucified with Christ’ and ‘our life is now hidden with Christ in God’ and when Christ who is our life appears or is revealed then we also shall appear or be revealed in him’.. Hallelujah! We have already been raised up in Christ and seated with him in the Heavenly places… we have already been resurrected and yet we hear of a resurrection to come… So there’s a natural way of seeing these things and a spiritual way as well… and I think the Lord would have us go with the SPIRITUAL way there’s no use going on about, ‘Oh when I die I’m going to go to heaven’- if you’re not living in heaven now! and the Lord is I believe constantly trying to bring us higher in our understanding that we are already actually in
heaven! Elijah prayed for his servant Gehazi -” Open his eyes Lord” and his eyes were opened and he saw the chariots of Israel all around on the mountains.. there are more with us than there are with them… and this is the spiritual reality that God has brought us into and yet in our natural carnal state we’re all running around saying, ‘Oh we’re going to go to heaven one day’.. ‘we’re going to see Jesus one day’.. ‘we’re going to praise him forever one day’.. when we die… and yet the scriptures reveal that you already died and you’re already raised up with him in glory, you’re already seated in Christ in the Heavenly places together with
him… but what do we prefer? we prefer to be titillated with a message that keeps us running on the treadmill and stops us from coming to know Heavenly realities now! Jesus told us what eternal life is: John 17-” and this is eternal life.. what is it Jesus? is it dying and going to heaven to see you one day? No! “this is eternal life that they may know you Father and Jesus Christ whom you have sent”.. Where did God send Jesus Christ? He sent him into your heart that you might know him.. because he is the Way to the Father and no man comes to the father except through Jesus Christ… you don’t come to the father through dying at in your mortal body and going to heaven.. you come to the Father through belief in the gospel that you died on the cross, you died on the cross, and unless you accept your death on the cross now, you will not come to the Father in your understanding.. but you keep putting it off …you keep pushing that message away and trying to just live a good life so that one day you’ll die and go and see the Father. Friend no one can see the Father! not even when you die… you’ll never see the Father– you’ll see Jesus! and you’ll see Jesus in each other and in
yourself… God is a spirit.. no man can see him unless they die… which is talking of the
Cross.. Millions have died and they still haven’t seen the
Father.. but we see Jesus! is what Hebrews chapter 2 says, “we see Jesus”.. or it might be chapter one.. and it’s Jesus that we see.. and Jes Jesus has been sent into your heart that you might know the Father.. which the Bible calls eternal life.. it’s life that is unfolding in the ages to come… the ages age unfolding life.. which a brother has used in his translation… go to his site and read it christrevealed.info – brother Daniel Yordy …and so… this life we’ve been given is in his son.. it’s not in heaven one day.. it’s now and the city that we are seeking is not Jerusalem in the Middle East it’s the New Jerusalem… it’s the hearts of Believers joined together… joined to the Lord Jesus Christ.
and there’s no use fighting Wars over that old Jerusalem.. no use.. it’s vanity.. but the New Jerusalem is given to us… it’s received by the lowly… it’s received by the meek… it’s received by those who know they can do nothing to please God.. it’s received at as a free gift… it comes down out of Heaven… every good and every perfect gift is from the Father of Lights with whom there is no Shadow.. no turning.. no changing.. and it’s his desire to give you the kingdom… but if you seek to please God In Your Own Strength then you’re refusing his gift.. you fight over a natural City… but God wants to GIVE YOU the kingdom and the city.. the whole Lock Stock and Barrel… but it requires you to cease from your own works.. and to receive what he has for us. hallelujah!
