In the beginning in the garden when Adam deliberately chose to eat from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil Paul tells us in Timothy that Adam was not deceived. The woman was deceived but Adam was not

deceived he deliberately chose to eat from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil which is the Lord Jesus-he basically said I don’t need life which is Jesus Christ I will eat from this tree and attempt to be like God by my own efforts and that is what was set up in the human race from then on.
of course it’s all a sham – you can never be like Jesus by trying — trying to be good and trying not to sin -That’s the Law ..that’s why the New Covenant was made …to supersede and take over from the first Covenant which could never make a man righteous …could never make you pleasing to God. Thats why God got rid of that old Covenant and made a New Covenant a covenant that does not depend upon you to keep it.
God made that Covenant with his son the perfect spotless Lamb of God so that whoever believes on Jesus is brought into Jesus and Jesus comes to live in you to be the keeper of the Covenant.
God’s not looking at your performance – the devil wants you to look at your performance so that you will try by your own strength to keep the law and if you do that, you fall from grace according to Paul in Galatians chap 5 “you have fallen from Grace you have become estranged from Christ”.
You’ll find that Christ will profit you nothing while you are trying to keep the law but you must cease from your own works and trust in Jesus alone –Moment by moment throughout the day. It’s not about trying but
resting.
In first John you read in chapter 4 that he is Antichrist who does not believe that Jesus Christ “came in the flesh” that’s what it says in most versions..
It actually says in the King James and in the Greek that many false prophets have gone out into the world and he is Antichrist who does not declare that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh -is come!
Jesus has come in the flesh long ago but Jesus is come in your flesh and this is the same theme as I’ve been preaching – do you believe that Jesus Christ lives in your flesh? If you do you are of God -first John chter 4 – but if you do not believe that Jesus Christ is in your flesh then you are Antichrist- that’s the Antichrist attitude that’s the mindset of the Beast.
You see the devil would much rather you believe in a Jesus Christ who’s way up there in heaven far away than for you to believe that Jesus lives in you in your flesh.
God has come to live in you–eManuel -God In the Flesh. Jesus came to live in you -Christ in you the hope of glory -because if you don’t believe that then you live under the old Covenant trying to please an unpleasable God who is far away watching you making sure you obey him keep his Commandments and so you find that you have Bible translations that reinforce this.
the New Living Translation in one John Chapter 2 it tells us he who does not keep God’s Commandments is not of God but in the new King James it says in reference to Jesus Christ in the first verse where it tells us that we have an advocate with the father Jesus Christ the righteous and then it says “he who says he knows him but does not keep his Commandments “..is in the dark…so it’s saying ‘who knows him’ ‘his commandments’ so it’s referring to Jesus’s Commandments which are not burdensome,he just said “a new commandment I give unto you that you love one another ” and love encapsulates the whole of the law but the new uh the New Living Translation says he who says he knows God and does not keep God’s commandments…
So what it’s doing there, it’s referring the reader back to Moses’s law by saying keep God’s Commandments and so it’s saying if you don’t keep the law then you are not of God…that you are deceived that you are in the dark so it’s telling the believer to keep God’s law as if you’re still under it that you must keep Moses’s law…it’s very subtle
that’s why it just says with the pronoun him “he who says he knows him and does not keep his Commandments” versus “he who says he knows God does not keep God’s Commandments” it does not say God in the Greek it doesn’t say God’s Commandments it’s referring to Jesus Christ and so I hope you see that it’s a very subtle shift by that paraphrase where they’ve taken the Liberty to translate,to interpret it to mean Moses’s law we’re not called to keep Moses’s law we are called to walk in the spirit by the power of an endless life …Jesus Christ who has come to live in our flesh and to be the life that pleases God the life that is within you pleases God and the life that is within
you is perfect and complete and you are complete in him…you don’t have to try to keep God’s law every day…you be yourself …you rest in him by faith …but the church has this separated mindset it’s called The Old Man and you have been led to believe that you are still that old man separated from God who needs to try hard to keep the law …that’s the old Covenant …you will die and you will be disinherited and you will fall away… that is the falling away!!
the moment you try to please God like that you have fallen from Grace you’ve rejected Jesus you’ve rejected what he did on the cross in putting you to death and raising you up as a new creature
you’re doing what Adam did you’re looking at the two trees Jesus or the law and you’re choosing the
law …I know I’m talking to people who think I’m nuts and can’t hear a thingle single thing I’m saying but God give you Grace to see it but brother because this is what matters–you’re trying to be a good boy for God you’re trying to be a good girl and keep the law… you have fallen from grace and that allows Antichrist which is really just the fleshman to come forth in your life but also someone like a real person , the Antichrist – someone like Trump will come forward and champion your cause.
Will Champion the idea that we can please God by being good and we can try our hardest not to be bad that’s the old covenant, that is death and Antichrist is the champion of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil and he shuns his nose he sticks his finger up to God and says you can keep your little Jesus I don’t need him to pleasee God I can be like God by eating from this tree!
God Made You Like himself and he put himself within you and that is the only thing that pleases God so unless you believe that Jesus Christ and you declare Jesus Christ in your flesh then you are choosing death to go the other way to believe in a far away Jesus who doesn’t live in you and you’re trying to establish your own righteousness As Romans 10:1-3 says …”being ignorant of God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own righteousness have not submitted to the righteousness of God for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to the one who believes ”
Christ is the end goal of the law but by keeping the law you can never be like him so you have to come out from under the law into Grace stop trying to establish your own righteousness through your own efforts you’re not under the law you died to the law and you’ve been made alive in Christ we only need to just believe and rest acknowledge and declare that Jesus Christ lives in my flesh Jesus Christ does all the obedience Jesus Christ is all the righteousness I need Jesus Christ is all the Holiness I need Jesus Christ is all the Perfection that I am for as he is so are we in this world if you’re going to rely on your own righteousness then you will have fear on the day of judgment even
torment praise the Lord you see that’s what torment is it is living in fear and torment that your efforts will not be enough to get you in the door rather than believing that he has already brought you in to per perfection in the Holy of holies that’s where you are but the devil would tempt you by accusing you that you’re not good enough to try harder and the moment you buy that you’ve been brought out of the holy of holies in your mind and you try and try and try and you’ve been cut off from Grace you’ve fallen from grace and become estranged or separate from God from Jesus in your mind all you need to do is repent of that acknowledge that Jesus is all you need all you need not just to get saved but today don’t listen to preachers who make you feel responsible to keep the law don’t listen to
them they’re preaching Moses you need to go and hear preachers who who are preaching Christ and him crucified and you in him and he in you Hallelujah may God lead you in that
